40 Frame Game Bowling Tournament

Saturday August 14th, 2004 at 6:45pm - Registration opens at 5:30pm

Plaza Lanes - 42001 Ann Arbor Road Plymouth, MI 48170 - Limited to the first 200 bowlers.

$20 per bowler with paid reservation by July 15th; $25 after 7/15 or at the door if space exists.

A 40 Frame Game consists of a variety of frames that are scored differently and which make up one continuous 40 frames as a single game. No prior bowling experience is required - anyone can win as a result of the format of the game. Automatic scoring will take care of the score sheets so just sit back and enjoy the game. The types of frames that make up a 40 Frame Game are as follows:

• 9 Pin No Tap (9 or 10 pins on your first ball is the same as a strike)
• 8 Pin No Tap (8, 9, or 10 pins on your first ball is the same as a strike)
• Bonus Frame (A strike earns you 10 additional points)
• Pay Day (A strike in a Pay Day frame wins you cash!)
• Sour Grapes (2 points are subtracted for each pin left standing on your first ball of the frame)
• Super Sour Grapes (5 points are subtracted for each pin left standing on your first ball of the frame)
• Mulligan (Don't like your first ball results? Erase the score and do it over again!)
• Classic/Regular Ten Pin Scoring (Just like regular bowling; nothing different)
• The Big Kahuna (A strike on your first ball is worth 25 extra points)
• Auto Strike (You automatically get a strike for that frame!)
• Bingo-Bango-Bongo (Each strike is worth money! Single Strike = $, Double Strike = $$, and Triple = $$$)

No previous experience required. There will be lots of payoffs. This is a singles tournament and is open to anyone. We will team you up if you like or you may request to be placed with other people that you know. Fill out the registration form & send it in with your most recent year book average. If you do not have an average you will be assigned an average of 150 for women and 160 for men. The handicap for this tournament will be 90% of the difference from your average & the tournament average of 220.

This is a singles tournament. Additional jackpots will be available at the tournament. Lounge and Snack Bar will be open. Prior Experience is not required.
