ALTCAMPING is an outdoor/camping/social club for the greater Metro Detroit and Michigan/Ontario, Canda community. Anyone, 21 and over regardless of sexual orientation, is welcome to join, but must be open minded.

AltCamping is a social group of people who share an interest in the great outdoors, outdoor activities, camping, and the like. Events are announced via EMAIL, this website, a members group (email, calendar, chat, website, etc) and old fashioned mail.
Monthly social events are open to both our men's and women's chapters, as are the dinners and regular camping trips. Seperate heated cabin trips are held for the men and women in the off season. In addition to the sperate cabin trips, the men and women each have their own email lists and can hold seperate men only or women only events.
Group members that are planning an activity can invite the entire group quickly and easily. Have an event planned and want to involve the group? Send us the information
